Just a quick little tip....
did you know that baking soda and vinegar makes a great drain cleaner? Think back to basic science in elementary school. Remember those paper mache volcanos? Same thing, only your clogged drain is your paper mache volcano. Dump some baking soda down that drain and pour over some vinegar. I haven't had a clogged drain yet that this couldn't fix.
A disgusting story so don't read if you get easily grossed out or have a week stomach.
We had a small gathering at our house for new years eve. A friend of mine choked and she ended up throwing up in our bathroom sink. Unfortunately that sink has a deep gooseneck drain. Friend tried to clean up after herself and plugged that drain tight. I tried different drainos, Plunging it, etc and nothing worked. It stayed plugged. I figured we would have to take the pipes apart and clean that mess out. I did NOT want to do that. I read online that baking soda and vinegar makes a great drain cleaner so I thought what the heck. I dumped some baking soda in and poured some vinegar on. I tried this 3 times and it started to drain. YES! So I tried it one more time and plunged it just a little bit and it drained out completely.
I still occasionally use this to keep that drain running free. About once a month I pour some baking soda down the drain and pour on some vinegar. Together the cost for a box of baking soda and a bottle of vinegar is under $2. Try buying a better working drain cleaner for that. I can treat all the drain in my house for under $2.
