microwave baked apple

1 apple (I use cortland or honey crisp. Red delicious is too soft)
brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
cinnamon

core apple.  Split skin.  Place in microwavable bowl.  Push butter down into the core and add brown sugar to fill to top.  Sprinkle cinnamon over apple and microwave on high for 5 minutes.  Let cool for a few minutes before eating.
